QUESTIONS
Bio:
Sao Paulo, february 2000. Questions was brought together moved by the felling of mixing the energy and intensity of hardcore music and the strength and agressivity of metal music. The name stands our critic vision towards life: questioning, dont accept anything passively. Our first register was a demo-tape named We Shall Overcome -released in June 2000-, coinciding with our first gigs around the country. At the end of that year, we shot a promo-video of the song Real Enemy, which was broadcasted on national television by MTV Brasil and Rede Minas. This song was also chosen to take part in a compilation released by Trip Magazine (circulation of 100,000 copies). In 2001 we launched two expressive projects: So Paulo Hardcore Scene the first Latin American home-video that documents a local hardcore scene and the Single CD Strength. By this time, the band bacame an important name in the national scene. An extensive tour followed, and the band had the chance to share the stage with some seminal hardcore bands such as Agnostic Front and Ratos do Poro. Before the end of the year we shot our second promo-video to the song Strength - and the home-video So Paulo Harcore Scene was broadcasted on national television by Rede Minas. 2003 was a memorable year for the band as we were invited to support Sepultura in two opportunities. We also recorded our first full-length CD, Resista!, and shot another promo-video (True Brotherhood). This record is a faithful register of Questions style and we are sure that Resista! will open lots of doors to the band.
