Bio:
Moonspell Established in 1992, MOONSPELL became one of the most recognizable voices of European Metal, adding their own Portuguese chapter to history of worldwide Heavy Metal music.
The band is celebrating their 30th anniversary. The Portuguese Gothic Metal visionaries introduced themselves to the world with the much-celebrated underground EP Under the Moonspell and their legendary Century Media debut Wolfheart in 1995. The follow up, Irreligious, in 1996, took the band to another level of recognition, around the globe, and since then the band has never stopped touring and delivering new and different music, keeping their huge fan-base in the five continents always on the lookout for up-to-date atmospheric Metal and passionate live shows.
In 2021, they have released Hermitage, their most recent effort, that was acclaimed by the fans and the press, as one of the best albums of the year. In late September 2022 they will release their new live album/DVD/BluRay, recorded 80 meters below surface, in a natural cave in Portugal, while resuming their always very significant live activity to celebrate their three decades on stage, in front of their pack.
