AC ANGRY

Bio:
AC AngryPent-up anger channelled into a feisty Rock ‘n’ Roll attitude. This is what AC ANGRY stands for. Metal Hammer Germany described their sound as “comparable to early Wonderfools, coupled with desert riff grooves and a touch of late Turbonegro”. Their roots lie clearly in the classic Rock ’n’ Metal of the 80's, in groups like Motörhead or Zodiac Mindwarp And The Love Reaction and they succeed in including their influences from the last 15 years in an exciting way, as bands like Danko Jones and Turbonegro took over. With this spellbinding mixture they set themselves apart from the rampant 70‘s Vintage Rock Revival and go their own way.
Under the old name Taletellers the four-piece already made a name for themselves in the world-wide metal scene with the albums ”Detonator“ and ”Radicalizer“. In 2009 they went on a European tour with Grave Digger and Alestorm and they supported such notables as Molly Hatchet, Sacred Reich, Uriah Heep or Astral Doors. Along with it the second album ”Radicalizer“ earned a Top 40 chart position in the US College Radio Charts. After a short break the band decided to change the name to something more suitable for their straight heavy Rock ‘n’ Roll – AC ANGRY – and since last year the musicians surrounding the charismatic singer Alan Costa have been hitting the gas again big time! Highly acclaimed shows as support for Danish rockers D-A-D and Ozzy‘s former sidekick Zakk Wylde and his Black Label Society and most of all the tour with Warrior Soul in November 2012, which led them through Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, were celebrated by fans and press alike.
AC ANGRY are facing 2013 with high anticipation. The debut album “Black Denim“ – produced by Phil Hillen (Powerwolf, Parachutes, The Vision Bleak, Vendetta …) at SU2 Studio - will finally be released. Iconic illustrator Jan Meininghaus (U.D.O., Bolt Thrower, Brainstorm …) is responsible for the perfectly fitting artwork. AC ANGRY are demonstrating with a total of 10 songs how a dirty Rock ‘n’ Roll album is supposed to sound! Catchy tunes like the pounding opener “Booze Horse“, the intriguing half-ballad “It‘s Good To Be Bad“ or the fat speed metal riffs-driven “Rock ‘n‘ Roller Roller Rolla“ are evidence that singer and guitarist Alan Costa, his congenial lead guitarist Stefan Kuhn, as well as the tight rhythm section, consisting of bassist Dennis Kirsch and drummer Sascha Waack will truly stir up the international scene!
The live shows will already start in late April when AC ANGRY are hitting the road for a mini-tour with guitar virtuoso Michael Schenker (MSG) before they will go on a big European tour this summer as support for the Hard ‘n‘ Heavy legend Saxon.
