Bio:
Dunraven Dunraven is a rising force on Slovenia’s alternative rock landscape, blending gritty grunge aesthetics with the weight and atmosphere of stoner rock. Formed in Bistrica ob Sotli, the trio—Gaja Pekošak (drums, vocals), Andrej Černelč (guitar, vocals) and Gašper Tominšek (bass, vocals)—emerged from a tight-knit local scene and quickly built a reputation for their raw, immersive sound.
Following their 2020 demo EP Thrown In At The Deep End, Dunraven sharpened their sonic identity through a mix of distorted riffs, moody vocals and subtle Slavic influences. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2024, marked a major step forward, featuring standout singles “Rock Bottom” and “Fires,” both accompanied by striking visuals.
Equally at home on intimate club stages and larger alternative lineups, Dunraven continue to evolve—experimenting with reinterpretations of traditional material while pushing toward new releases. With a sound that feels both heavy and hauntingly melodic, they stand as one of the most compelling new voices in the Slovenian underground rock scene.
